The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with deep expertise in the Atlassian ecosystem to design, build, and enhance solutions that improve organizational efficiency and support strategic business objectives. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent logical and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate is a fast learner and critical thinker with a strong technical foundation in Atlassian application development, API integrations, and AIrelated technologies. You should be comfortable analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and architecting solutions that deliver measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom solutions using python, java scripts, Atlassian Forge, REST APIs, automation frameworks, AI development, Database.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Jira, Confluence, and related Atlassian tools , integration with other applications, providing technical guidance and best practices.
  • Conduct structured problem analysis, system design, and highquality software development following modern engineering practices.
  • Build and enhance automation, applications, and integrations to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain tools, frameworks, and methodologies that support continuous improvement in the development process.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to translate business requirements into sound technical designs and implementation plans.
  • Work with legacy systems to extract, transform, and integrate data into the Atlassian ecosystem.
  • Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to leverage emerging technologies- including AI capabilities- to enhance services and application performance.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Develop solutions extending Atlassian Forge, REST services , integrations and JIRA plugins.
  • Serve as the JIRA / Confluence technical resource (Subject Matter Expert).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis, design and programming techniques.
  • In-depth experience of automation, designing and implementing applications.
  • Develop tools and methodologies to improve the effectiveness of the development process.
  • Ability to source data from legacy systems, effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree in CE, EE, Information Systems, or a related field.
