About This Position

The Customer Service Representative will serve as the primary contact for Keefe Bulk Customers. Responsible for handling questions regarding order status, placing bulk orders, handling customer returns and product knowledge.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and solve problems from customers regarding order status and product questions.
  • Trace outbound customer shipments, providing proof of delivery when needed.
  • Process orders received via fax/email/web and phone.
  • Process customer credits and return authorizations.
  • Complete other duties assigned by management.
  • Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • 3 or more years of Customer Service, sales, or telephone experience required.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Front line problem solving ability with a sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge of basic PC and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and upbeat telephone voice.
  • Strong ability to multitask.
  • Ability to type 45-50 wpm.
  • Be able to work a 10-key calculator is required.
  • Knowledge of basic PC, Microsoft office programs.
  • Familiarity with Oracle applications a plus.
