Well Spa Director

If so, The Pfister is looking for a Spa Director to lead our Well Spa + Salon team and continue its iconic legacy.

As the Well Spa Director at The Pfister Hotel, you will be responsible for strategic leadership, operational excellence, and the consistent delivery of luxury spa and wellness experiences that enhance guest satisfaction and brand reputation.

Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for nearly 130 years. As one of the best hotels in Milwaukee and the Midwest, we continue to celebrate a grand tradition of gracious service and impeccable style. The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for 46 consecutive years. The hotel is one of only 11 properties throughout North America to maintain the AAA Four Diamond designation since the inception of the Diamond Rating program in 1976.

What you will be doing:

* Establish operating standards for the Well Spa brand and ensure compliance across all operations.

* Conduct market research regarding competitive pricing, products, and services.

* Establish treatment protocols to enhance Well Spa brand consistency.

* Provide consultation, coaching, and leadership to Spa Managers and Supervisors.

* Oversee all human resource management functions, including hiring, training, and performance management for spa associates.

* Manage spa reporting and financials, including budgets, forecasting, and performance analysis.

* Design and develop programming for new spa services and experiences.

* Collaborate with Marketing to design promotions, campaigns, and collateral material.

* Establish standards and develop training for signature spa services.

* Audit spa operations regularly for compliance with brand, health, and safety standards.

* Perform other leadership duties as assigned to support the General Manager and Hotel leadership team.

Position Requirements:

* 5-7 years of spa-related experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

* Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, reporting, and analysis.

* Proven ability to work independently with confidence and sound decision-making.

* High degree of organization, motivation, and attention to detail.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Outgoing, professional demeanor with strong leadership presence.

* Ability to analyze trends and operational data to inform strategy.

* Knowledge of human resources best practices and employment law basics.

* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and spa management software.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
