As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist employees and visitors with friendly customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other systems as assigned, and respond to alerts according to post orders and escalation guidelines.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, directing visitor check-in, issuing temporary badges as required, and maintaining visitor logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, suspicious activity, and/or workplace disruptions.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions using written reports and/or electronic reporting tools, and notify site contacts and/or leadership as required.
• Perform presence and patrol support for technology-focused work areas such as offices, labs, and server or network spaces where access may be restricted.
• Assist with key control, package screening expectations, and delivery/vendor coordination as directed by site policies.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers, site personnel, and public responders, and support orderly evacuations and/or shelter procedures when directed.
• Observe and report maintenance, lighting, door hardware, and other facility issues that could impact security-related operations, and submit notifications through designated channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
