Job Description




As a Security Officer - Clearance Required Rover Driver in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location where you will help support a secure environment through visible patrols, routine tours, access monitoring, and clear incident reporting. As a driving post, you may operate a company vehicle to conduct exterior checks and respond to calls across the site. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
  • Control access to buildings and restricted areas by verifying identification, processing badges and/or credentials, and following visitor management procedures.
  • Conduct entry screening as directed by site policy, including checking packages, deliveries, vehicles, and/or equipment entering or leaving the property.
  • Perform regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor alarm panels, cameras, and/or other security-related systems, and document unusual activity for follow-up.
  • Provide escorts for visitors, contractors, and/or employees in controlled areas when required by site procedures.
  • Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation in a clear and timely manner.
  • Support protection of company assets by observing for suspicious behavior and conditions, reporting hazards, and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or theft.
  • Coordinate with site teams during drills, evacuations, and other operational disruptions, following established communication and response procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security experience.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
