Security Officer - Industrial Mobile Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Industrial Mobile Patrol Driver in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct unarmed patrols and drive between areas as needed, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will check perimeters, monitor access points, and document observations while providing customer-focused communication to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter fencing to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, or hazardous conditions, and report findings per protocol.
• Control access at gates and entry points by checking identification, managing visitor and contractor sign-in, issuing badges when required, and directing traffic to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, disturbances, and medical emergencies, and coordinate notifications to site contacts and local responders as directed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs on patrols, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate shifts updates to supervisors and/or incoming officers.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
