As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to guest and associate concerns with clear communication and customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling disturbances, suspected shoplifting, and other policy violations while coordinating with store leadership and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout sales floors, stock areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
• Perform access control and presence activities at key points such as entrances, exits, receiving areas, and employee-only doors, helping to monitor for unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Complete written reports and daily activity logs, document observations and incidents, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and on-site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Primarily driving post preferred.
• Guard card and/or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
