As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication. You will deliver customer-focused service while documenting observations and partnering with site leaders and your Allied Universal team. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Maintain a visible armed presence in assigned areas to help to deter prohibited activity and support a professional environment for employees and customers.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, lobby areas, ATM and vestibule areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, unauthorized persons, and policy violations, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, disturbances, alarms, and suspicious behavior.
  • Communicate clearly with local management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed, following site instructions and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Operate assigned security-related equipment and systems such as radios, access control, alarms, and camera systems as applicable to the location.
  • Complete detailed written reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and report maintenance or security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Support cash handling and cash movement procedures as directed by site policy, including observing transport routes and maintaining situational awareness during scheduled movements.
  • Follow all firearms handling, storage, and qualification requirements, and comply with use of force guidelines and post orders while on duty.
  • Assist with customer and employee questions, directions, and issue resolution while maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor.
  • Participate in briefings, drills, and ongoing training as required, and follow updated post orders and client instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • - Be at least 21 years of age.
  • - CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • - Customer service experience is preferred.
  • - A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
  • - Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • - Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
