As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial office location, you will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, support access control, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and compliance with AU driver policy requirements. You will deliver welcoming customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and support a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe onsite activity, reporting irregularities, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, supporting evacuations, and coordinating with onsite management and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and tenant service requests, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
