As a Security Officer - TMT Dispatch Coordinator in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location as a Dispatch Officer, supporting a fast-paced environment where communication matters. You will monitor alarms and cameras, track access activity, document incidents, and coordinate responses with onsite teams to help reduce security-related issues. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Operate the dispatch function by monitoring alarms, cameras, access control, and communications systems, and coordinating timely response for on-site officers and/or site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalation protocols appropriate for a technology-focused location.
• Document security-related events in daily activity reports and incident reports, including alarm activations, access issues, and service requests, with clear notifications to supervision and/or client contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
