As a Security Console Operator - Day Shift in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a healthcare manufacturing location, you will be the hub for security-related communications, coordinating officer activity, monitoring alarms and cameras, tracking access control and badge activity, and documenting incidents in real time. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
  • Operate the dispatch center by monitoring alarms, cameras, telephones, and radio traffic; dispatch officers and/or appropriate resources according to post orders and escalation guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site leadership and emergency responders as directed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of calls for service, incident reports, shift activity logs, and key access and/or badge requests in accordance with site requirements.
  • Support regular and random patrol operations by tracking officer check-ins, coordinating coverage for breaks and post changes, and reporting observed issues to site supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
