As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors with outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations and/or concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and timely notification to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior areas such as lobbies, teller lines, offices and common areas and/or around exterior approaches and parking areas as directed by post orders.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management per site procedures, including verifying identification and directing visitors to appropriate areas.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence, observing behavior and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Perform access control and key control tasks as assigned, including checking doors, gates and restricted areas for signs of tampering and/or irregularities.
  • Operate and monitor security-related systems when assigned, which may include CCTV, alarms and communication equipment, and report abnormal conditions.
  • Document and report activities, incidents, hazards and maintenance concerns using required reports and/or electronic systems, with accurate and timely entries.
  • Provide assistance during medical situations, fire alarms, suspicious packages, robbery alarms and/or other emergencies by following post orders, coordinating with responders and supporting orderly site operations.
  • Interact professionally with staff, customers, vendors and law enforcement as needed to support site policies and a positive customer experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
