As a Security Officer - Clearance Required High-Rise in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Arlington, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site contacts, document observations, and respond to requests with a customer service mindset. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, stairwells, mechanical areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor management by verifying credentials, directing guests to the appropriate areas, and documenting entries as required by location policy.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, suspicious activity, medical events, fire alarms, and property damage.
- Observe and report security-related concerns such as unsecured doors, broken locks, lighting outages, blocked egress routes, and other conditions that may impact normal operations.
- Perform routine checks of doors, gates, and common areas, and assist with lock and unlock rounds per location procedures.
- Operate and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, and intercoms, and notify appropriate parties when issues are observed.
- Complete detailed written reports, incident documentation, and activity logs, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or local authorities as directed.
- Provide directions, tenant assistance, and general information while maintaining a professional presence in common areas and during patrol activities.
- Support after-hours operations by conducting perimeter checks, monitoring parking areas, and responding to service calls from tenants and building management per location procedures.
Minimum Requirements: - Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
- Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Hold a guard card and/or license preferred.
- Hold a CPR certification preferred and it may be completed post hire.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
