Estimated annual base pay: 65,000.00 (minimum) - 85,000.00 (midpoint) - 104,000.00(maximum)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor established data pipelines and scheduled jobs; build and validate basic ETL/ELT operations and simple data models.
  • Become familiar with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise source systems, assist analysts by locating fields, explaining basic table relationships, and answering questions about various business attributes.
  • Support analysts and data scientists by gathering basic requirements; triage tickets and resolve routine incidents using the IT ticketing system.
  • Provide support for Power BI, Fabric, and Business Objects users; troubleshoot common report issues and escalate complex problems.
  • Perform routine platform administration tasks for on-prem servers and web/application stacks. Apply updates, monitor services, and escalate incidents.
  • Follow defined processes to provision and revoke user access across cloud and on-prem platforms.
  • Contribute to documentation efforts, simple architecture notes and process steps.

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in SQL
  • Entry-level Python/PySpark, or comparable scripting languages (Scala, Java, etc.)
  • Entry-level experience with ETL/ELT using Azure Synapse pipelines, Azure Data Factory, or comparable tools (AWS Glue, Google Cloud Dataflow, Apache Airflow, etc.). Experience with SAP Data Services preferred.
  • Beginner knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures and common data models. Experience with SLT sidecar for continuous replication preferred.
  • Basic understanding of data warehouses (cloud or on-prem), relational databases and data modeling concepts.
  • Basic proficiency with connecting to, extracting and loading data from REST APIs.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Power BI and Fabric admin features (workspace and capacity management, security). Experience with SAP Business Objects and Power BI report development (including DAX and M languages) preferred.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git), basic testing and CI/CD.
  • Clear communication to both technical and nontechnical people, receptive to peer feedback, problem-solving ability, team player, continuous learner.

Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related discipline is preferred.
  • 1-2 years in data engineering, ETL, data warehousing, or similar roles supporting enterprise analytics required.
