Technology Intern - Enterprise Architecture & IT Operations - Summer 2026

OUC - The Reliable One, an industry leader and the second-largest municipal utility in Florida, is offering an internship program in the Transformation & Technology Administration division.

The OUC Internship Program is dedicated to providing students with real-world, hands-on experience by partnering with energy leaders and experienced professionals, while bringing new and out-of-the-box perspectives and ideas that are essential for fostering the creativity and growth of any business. OUC's internship program provides emerging talent with an immersive view of the utility industry through on-the-job training, educational sessions, self-paced learning courses, and individual or team projects.

We are looking for a Technology Intern to support both the Enterprise Architecture & IT Operations teams. During this internship, you will be involved in:

• Support the Enterprise Architecture team and IT Helpdesk in daily operations and projects.
• Assist in process improvement, data quality, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Gain hands-on experience in IT architecture practices, analytics, and support operations.
• Collaborate with teams to analyze, troubleshoot, and recommend solutions for real-world IT challenges.
• Document and maintain IT procedures, reports, and system workflows.
• Participate in cross-team discussions to share insights and contribute to decision-making.
• Help with data collection, validation, and reporting to support IT strategy and projects.

Internship Eligibility:

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
• Academic status of Junior or above.
• Program of study: Information Technology, Data Analytics, - Business Analytics or Operations Management
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of application.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Previous internship experience preferred

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Basic knowledge of IT systems,
  architecture concepts, and analytics
• Experience
  with productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)
• Familiarity
  with Jira, Power BI, SQL, or data modeling
• Ability to
  analyze information, follow processes, and document findings
• Strong
  communication, organizational skills, and teamwork
• Willingness to
  learn new tools and technologies

Compensation: $17.50 - $20 per hour, varies depending on the education level

Schedule: Full-Time (up to 40 hours per week) from May 18th, 2026 to August 14th, 2026 following a Hybrid Schedule
