As a Security Officer - Dispatch Security Clearance in Goleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will support daily operations from a central command post by monitoring cameras and alarm systems, coordinating patrol response, managing access control communications, and documenting incidents with clear, timely reporting. You will provide professional customer service while partnering with site leadership to help reduce security-related issues. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies within an aerospace and defense location, and initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Operate the dispatch post by monitoring alarms, cameras, radios and/or phones, prioritizing calls for service, and coordinating responses with on-site personnel per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating to appropriate site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports including incident reports, dispatch activity, key and badge activity when applicable, and shift turnover notes.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, checking doors, gates, and sensitive areas, and reporting conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
