Security Officer - Retail Roving Patrol

As a Security Officer - Retail Roving Patrol in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests and associates with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and partner with onsite teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and customer concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through the proper channels as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, stockrooms, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances and exits, observe foot traffic, and assist with loss prevention awareness by reporting suspicious activity and/or policy noncompliance to management and/or law enforcement when appropriate.
• Complete timely reports such as incident reports and shift logs, document observations and actions taken, and communicate key information during shift changes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
