As a Security Officer - Government Patrol - Day Shifts in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy government airport location, where you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist travelers and staff with courteous service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and use a computer and/or tablet to support daily reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an airport and/or government location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry points and restricted areas by verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization in accordance with post orders and posted requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and/or requesting assistance from appropriate airport and/or government personnel.
• Complete timely documentation such as activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations and status updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
