A Quality Engineering Intern is responsible for assisting the determination of production standards for aerospace components by working with quality control systems and establishment of product requirement rules. Their duties include firstly to learn and enhance the product quality and quality systems.


Duties:



  • Working with the Quality, Engineering and Operations staff
  • Determining quality improvement factors of each product and process
  • Evaluate methods to inspect, test and evaluate aspects of manufacturing processes, products and equipment
  • Review to make sure processes adhere to quality standards
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
  • Work in accordance with deadlines for delivery of products or software
  • Perform product audits to ensure process is able to produce conforming hardware



EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS



  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or related degree


COMPUTER SKILLS



  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a typical office environment. The employee may also occasionally be exposed to moderate cold and moderate heat. Exposure to the production facility includes loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment.
