This position is expected to start around May or June 2026 and continue through theSummerterm (endingapproximately August 2026) or continuing into Fall 2026 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program.Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work40 hoursper week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-timeduring the academic year.

Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Intern to support the Fleet team by coordinating fleet operations, driving process improvements, and optimizing the lifecycle of vehicles across the organization. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between cross-functional partners to ensure the effective deployment, maintenance, and utilization of vehicles. You will use data dashboards to monitor performance, identify opportunities to reduce repair dwell and vehicle downtime, and streamline processes that enhance fleet throughput. This role offers hands-on experience in operations, analytics, and communication across departments while directly contributing to operational excellence.


What You'll Do
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain vehicles
  • Monitor KPI dashboards to track vehicle status, repair dwell, utilization rates, and other performance metrics
  • Proactively analyze data to identify bottlenecks and recommend actions to improve fleet efficiency and readiness
  • Communicate insights, escalations, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Support logistics and scheduling for vehicle servicing, repairs, registration, and allocation
  • Assist in managing timely service completion and preparation for sale
  • Aid in subrogation processes and ensure accurate documentation of vehicle assets
  • Contribute to standardization of processes and improvements in systems and workflows
  • Help minimize vehicle downtime and increase throughput to maximize fleet performance

What You'll Bring
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program (Business Management, Business Administration, Operations, Data Analytics, or related field)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-informed decisions
  • Experience with dashboards and data tools (Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.) preferred
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn with a proactive and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a highly collaborative team

    Expected Compensation
    $19.41 - $31.97/hour + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
