Medical Assistant Washington DC Pay From: $21 Per Hour MUST: The qualified Medical Assistant must have the following experience: 1+ year of experience as a medical assistant Experience rooming patients Obtaining vitals and medical histories Experience assisting with clinical exams and procedures Cleaning exam rooms and maintaining and stocking supplies Strong communications skills and strong clinical knowledge and abilities Must have strong EMR documentation Scheduling appointments Obtaining prior authorizations Handling administrative duties Performing patient call backs DUTIES: Medical assistant will be responsible for the following: Room patients Take vitals Enter and update patient information in EMR Assist with exams and procedures Enter patient information into EMR system Keep exam rooms cleaned and stocked Ensure all related labs and reports are entered into patients charts Maintain and stock supplies Sanitize exam rooms Provide patient education to patients Perform patient call backs Schedule appointments Process prescriptions Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
