Your Opportunity: Taylor Communications, a Taylor Corporation company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager at its Hutchins, TX facility!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and governance of a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with Lean/Six Sigma principles and organizational goals.
  • Establish and maintain quality metrics, dashboards, and governance mechanisms to monitor process performance, capability (Cp/Cpk), and compliance with standards.
  • Drive process improvement by leading process mapping, value stream analysis, and crossfunctional kaizen or rapidimprovement events to eliminate waste and strengthen process flow.
  • Ensure consistent and controlled operations by designing, documenting, and maintaining SOPs and control plans, including mistakeproofing and earlywarning indicators.
  • Plan, execute, and report internal audits using objective criteria, checklists, and sampling plans; ensure findings are resolved with auditable evidence.
  • Lead structured root cause analysis (RCA) and manage endtoend CAPA processes to address systemic issues with sustainable, datavalidated solutions.
  • Analyze quality and process performance data using statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Excel) and deliver clear, actionable insights to leadership.
  • Build organizational capability by developing and delivering training on Lean, Six Sigma, problemsolving, SOPs, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Partner with crossfunctional teams-including Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Support-to embed quality into processes and support external audits and certifications.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement rooted in process ownership, accountability, and recognition of meaningful quality and efficiency gains.

You Must Have:

  • A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is required, with demonstrated project execution in a manufacturing environment; a Black Belt or Master Black Belt is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in quality management or quality engineering within a manufacturing setting, showing the ability to improve production processes, enhance capability, and sustain shopfloor performance.
  • Strong analytical capability, including datadriven decision making, statistical process control, capability studies, and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency with manufacturing quality systems such as document control platforms, quality record systems, and ERP tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to collaborate closely with production, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams, and to train operators and supervisors on quality standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in driving change, coaching others, influencing without direct authority, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline in a plant environment.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Experience in ISO 9001 auditing.
  • Knowledge of risk management and corrective action systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
