The opportunity: The Technical Producer (US Services) supports the AV and production service delivery for an inspiring array of live in-person, virtual, hybrid corporate meetings and events at Sun Life. A creative solutions expert, the producer guides and influences business partners on the design, strategy and service selection for events that utilize various virtual platforms both internal conference centers as well as external venues around the world. Using astute production and technical expertise, the producer ensures the event production services are delivered at a high-quality standard and professional caliber. The Technical Producer (US Services) leads both high-profile large-budget events for our most senior executives with high expectations as well as in office and virtual events of varying sizes and complexity The producer thrives in high-pressure circumstances and can adapt to last minute requests and changes with superb customer service skills. The producer is experienced in hands-on technical event delivery (audio, video, streaming, lighting, staging, and other technical service operation) as well as assigning services, resource scheduling, sourcing suppliers and vendors and steering business partners on the most effective solutions to deliver program requirements. A robust understanding and experience in in-person, virtual and hybrid production coordination from a technical perspective is critical to this role. The Producer leads and contributes to departmental practices, systems and training programs, improving the working processes and skills of the entire technical services team. The Producer leads the adoption of new technical equipment and maintenance processes and collaboratively supporting team members as required. This in-office role is based at our Wellesley, MA office location, onsite to support events and collaborate with team members. The incumbent also supports activities at other US offices and offsite venues. The producer reports to the Director, Event Technology & Broadcast Experience (People Manager) as well as receives support and direction from the Senior Manager, Production Services and Senior Manager, Broadcast Services (Practice Managers). The producer works closely with members of the technician team, as well as the Producing, Multimedia and Operations teams in the delivery of our overall department initiatives.
