CNB is looking for a qualified, motivated, and client- and team-focused individual to join our team as an ON-SITE Learning and Development Manager, in our Hillsdale or Jackson location.

Job Summary

The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving the bank's learning strategy to support associate performance, leadership development, organizational growth, and regulatory compliance. The role partners closely with senior leadership to ensure training initiatives align with the bank's strategic direction and support the banks' culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with the bank's strategic objectives which promotes a culture of continuous leaning and professional growth.
  • Serve as a business partner to senior leadership on workforce capability and talent development.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate learning programs, including onboarding, position specific training, leadership development, and skill development.
  • Facilitate and/or coordinate instructor-led training through in-person and virtual learning.
  • Partner with Human Resources and business leaders to identify skill gaps and future workforce needs.
  • Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Audit teams to support timely completion and accurate documentation of mandatory training and audit readiness.
  • Track, analyze, and report on training effectiveness and provide feedback for continuous improvement using metrics and best practices.
  • Manage external training vendor relationships.


Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, Organizational Development, or related field, or an equivalent combination or education, training, and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development or organizational effectiveness

Preferred:
  • Experience in financial services, banking, or another highly regulated industry

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence leaders and collaborate across departments
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on role
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance training


WORKING CONDITIONS
  • This position is an on-site position located in our Hillsdale Wealth Management office, requiring occasional travel.
