Job Overview
Responsible for maintaining, inventorying, cleaning, distributing, and receiving all Mobility gear, training and real-world, on Laughlin AFB.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Manage, maintain, and provide accountability for mobility programs, equipment, supplies, and assets in support of mission requirements.
- Build, process, issue, receive, store, and track mobility bags, training gear, and associated equipment for deployers and trainees.
- Perform stock control functions, requisition materials, and utilize automated systems to order, track, and manage supplies and equipment.
- Serve as a trained Equipment Custodian; maintain accountability for controlled and sensitive items, including weapons, and conduct required daily, weekly, monthly, and semi-annual inspections and inventories.
- Conduct inventories and reconcile records in accordance with applicable regulations, directives, and local guidelines.
- Inspect incoming materials for accuracy, serviceability, and damage; ensure proper identification, handling, storage, and routing of assets.
- Manage shelf-life items by monitoring expiration dates, updating records, coordinating redistribution to other agencies when required, and disposing of expired or unserviceable assets through DRMS.
- Organize, maintain, and ensure proper housekeeping of mobility warehouses, storage areas, and office spaces.
- Provide logistics and mobility support to the 47th FTW in accordance with government and contract requirements; support all wing exercises and validate appointment rosters.
- Prepare, maintain, and submit required reports and documentation, including Weekly SITREP data, monthly issue effectiveness reports, service summaries, CPAR data, master file plans, and suspense files.
- Communicate with A4 leadership regarding issues, discrepancies, reporting requirements, and required authorizations.
- Perform all duties in compliance with applicable DoD, Air Force, MAJCOM directives, AFIs, Technical Orders, Operating Instructions, contract requirements, and local standards.
- Review Operating Instructions (OIs), supplements, and Technical Orders (TOs) for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Receive, manage, maintain, and monitor stock levels and shelf life of all IEU items; process all IEU section transactions as required.
- Inspect eyewash stations and first aid kits monthly and document results.
- Maintain accurate training matrices and individual training records.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety standards throughout warehouse and office work areas.
- Perform UCC and Emergency Management (EM) duties when required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Accountable for:
- Timely completion and accuracy of all work.
- All Mobility gear on Laughlin AFB, provided thru Base Supply.
- Customer service with every Service Member that enters IEU. Attendance/Punctuality/Dependability
- Teamwork/Integrity
- Follow all AF guidance provided in AF/DOD Manuals and PWS.
- Working closely and harmoniously with other

Job Requirements
Mandatory
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to obtain and hold a NACI Security Clearance.
- Class C Texas driver's license
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others in a team
- Ability to understand and have working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must obtain certification to be weapons certified.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Obtain and hold a license to carry in order "arm-up" (carry firearm) as required for location assigned.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required to.
- Must be able to stand for several hours.
- Team Player, Ability to communicate effectively, works harmoniously with others.
- Must be "On-Call" for all Mobility exercises, incidents, or Real-World events.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred
- General knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Currently holds a license to carry in order "arm-up" (carry firearm) as required for location assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required to.
- Must be able to stand for several hours.
Working Conditions:
- May perform work both indoors and outdoors needed.
- Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and/or carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces, depending on specific work
- May be periodically exposed to confined spaces, inclement weather conditions, or other work conditions determined by nature of work.
