We are seeking a Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) Specialist to troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, and modifying HVAC control systems (pneumatic, electric, and electronic equipment). We are seeking a HVAC Specialist to: Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and modify HVAC control systems (pneumatic, electric, and electronic equipment). Read printouts and interpret the information provided to make changes to the computer programs which control the operation of fans, chillers, pumps, dampers, and controls. Train operators on workstation procedures used to monitor and control the facility. Maintain records and written documentation associated with codes of all applicable local, state, and federal regulatory agencies. Qualifications High School Diploma Or GED Required Work Experience 2 years Previous Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Building Automation System controls experience or combination of formal training and experience. Required 2 years Experience working in a healthcare environment with specialized requirements (operating rooms, airborne isolation rooms, protective environment rooms etc.) Preferred Licenses & Certifications BOC (Building Operator Certification), or American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineer (ASHRAE) or Operations & Performance (O&P) Management Certification or equivalent to the above Preferred Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification Preferred Valid Driver's License Required Our Commitment to Social Impact and Belonging UW Health is committed to fostering a workplace that creates belonging for everyone and is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
