Exceed LLC is seeking a Drug and Alcohol Counselor/TEAP Specialist who will be responsible for the design, development and coordination of the Alcohol and other Drugs of Abuse Prevention/Intervention Program at the Lyndon B Johnson Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in Franklin, NC. This position is 20 hours per week and will work Tuesday - Thursday 12:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday 8:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver structured group instruction on substance abuse awareness, prevention, and healthy decision-making

* Integrate lessons into the Career Success Standards curriculum, ensuring students understand the impact of substance use on employability and workplace safety

* Develop and maintain lesson plans, educational materials, and workshops tailored to diverse learning needs

* Provide orientation sessions for new students on Job Corps' zero-tolerance policies and wellness resources

* Conduct individual assessments to identify students at risk for substance use issues

* Provide short-term counseling, motivational interviewing, and referrals to community resources when needed

* Collaborate with the Center Mental Health Consultant, Wellness staff, and Residential Advisors to ensure coordinated student care

* Support students in developing coping strategies, relapse prevention skills, and personal responsibility

Compliance & Program Management

* Ensure compliance with the Job Corps Policy and Requirements Handbook (PRH) regarding TEAP services

* Maintain accurate and confidential records of student participation, progress, and referrals

* Participate in case management meetings and contribute to student success planning

* Provide staff training on recognizing and responding to substance use concerns

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in mental health or social work-related field,

* Cert or license in substance abuse counseling,

* Two years of experience in substance abuse counseling,

* Experience working with teens and young adults

* CADC, LADC, or equivalent
