Department Summary:
The mission of the Sandra L. Fenwick Institute is to improve the health outcomes for all children. By leveraging Boston Children's national and international reputation as a pediatric research institution, the Fenwick Institute will:
  • Perform, collaborate or support pioneering, actionable research that catalyzes innovations in pediatric clinical care.
  • Provide leadership development for current and future health care and research leaders.
  • Set standards of practice to improve health outcomes for all children.
The Sandra L. Fenwick Institute is extending its research into the Maternal Child Health field. Individuals with an interest in this area are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages a project or phase(s) of a complex research project from initiation/planning through the execution of the research grant or contract concluding with project transition and close, ensuring a successful project.
  • Identify and use appropriate project management tools and concepts (scope management, planning, budget management, risk/ issue management, communications management).
  • Develop and execute work plan. Set priorities for tasks based on importance and urgency. Deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • May conduct and/or support complex qualitative and quantitative analysis of project data, summarize findings, draw appropriate conclusions, and effectively communicate results to team.
  • Manage and direct regulatory/ reporting activities related to projects (e.g., IRB, updates/ reports to funding agencies, etc.).
  • Manage communication and relationships with key project stakeholders (internal and external) and across the institution. Compose, edit, and deliver written and verbal communications. Facilitate group discussions.
  • May be responsible or assist in the packaging and shipping of samples to other centers following the prescribed procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
  • A Master's Degree or higher is preferred.
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience required OR a Master's with 3 years of related experience required.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
