| Position Summary |
The Administrative Assistant I position serves as the Jere W. Morehead Honors College receptionist. This position is the first point of contact for the majority of individuals that contact or enter the Honors College. The person in this position answers the main telephone line, responds to email inquiry, and directs visitors. This position also provides clerical and project support for various staff members as needed. |

| Duties/Responsibilities |
Answer the Honors College main Teams phone, greet visitors, and welcome
UGA students, faculty, and staff; answer a variety of questions related to the Honors College; and refer inquires to the appropriate staff member as needed. A high level of customer service and organization is needed for this position. Serve as an information/help desk for visitors by providing information and directions. Maintain the lost & found; sort and deliver all mail and packages received; process and mail out Honors Information packets per requests via email. Distribute appropriate applications and documents upon request. Maintain the Moore Hall Lobby and student lounge, including general straightening and tidying as needed. |

Assist the Honors advisors with various tasks as needed throughout the year and especially during registration and drop/add periods. Update and maintain information on Excel spreadsheets as well as emailing spreadsheets to the Registrar's Office each semester. Review and process various applications/forms submitted by current students. Review, update, and address issues daily within the Honors Option InfoReady site and the Honors portal. |

UGA facilities management work requests as needed. Update and display Moore Hall informational signage as needed. Assist with classroom support questions and event preparation as needed. Post the Oxford Tutorial classes to the Honors Portal each semester and email the list to the Registrar's Office. |
