Youwillprospect fornew customers, implement territoryplansand consistently exceed sales goals-making a measurable impact on Spectrum Business's success.

How YouWillMake an Impact

  • Prospect for new business and sell bundled Internet,voiceand video solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within your assigned territory
  • Provide subject matterexpertisein product, systems and sales process knowledge, regularly mentoring Account Executives and supporting team development
  • Implement territory plans designed to expand Spectrum Business's customer base and generatenew salesleads frominitialcontact through closing
  • Maintainaccuraterecords of sales activities,utilizingSalesforce.com and other tools to maximize territory potential
  • Ensure all sales orders, contracts, billingformsand reports areaccurateandsubmittedpromptly, collaborating with Account Coordinators as needed
  • Demonstrate advanced selling skills and strong product knowledge, practicing and sharing sales techniques with the team
  • Meet and exceed department performance standards following the Spectrum Way Sales Model
  • Attend and actively participate in sales meetings and ongoing training

Working Conditions

  • Office and field-based work, including exposure to inclement weather
  • Moderate noise levels

What You Will Bring to Spectrum

RequiredQualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 2+ years sales experience or 2+ years in telecom or technical industry

Skills

  • Read, write,speakand understand English
  • Strong desirefor company growth and team development
  • In-depth knowledge of communications technologies with emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record

Preferred Qualifications

Experience

  • 3+ years outside sales experience in a high transaction, short closing cycle environment
  • 1+ years as an Account Executive at Spectrum with a documentedtrack recordof meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Business-to-business sales experience
