Join our team as a Human Resources Business Partner!

We're looking for a dynamic and people-centered Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support two of our hotel properties. In this highly visible role, you'll serve as the trusted HR partner to leaders and team members-driving engagement, performance, and a strong workplace culture. This is primarily an onsite role with one remote day per week. Because our hotels operate 24/7, occasional flexibility for evenings or weekends may be needed to connect with team members across shifts. You'll report to the Vice President of Human Resources and join a collaborative, supportive HR team that values partnership, integrity, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

As an HR Business Partner, you will balance strategic partnership with hands-on execution across the full employee lifecycle.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Lead partial-cycle recruiting from job posting through offer

  • Partner with hiring managers on intake meetings, sourcing strategies, and candidate selection

  • Create compelling, SEO-optimized job postings

  • Source candidates via job boards, social media, LinkedIn, career fairs, and community outreach

  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and support interviews as needed

  • Administer assessments and manage offer letters and background checks

  • Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and new hire first-day experiences

  • Conduct 30-day check-ins with new hires and managers

Employee Relations & Leadership Support
  • Serve as the first point of contact for team members and leaders at assigned hotels

  • Coach and guide managers on performance management, leadership skills, and team development

  • Support disciplinary processes, draft written warnings and PIPs, and assist with investigations

  • Partner with the VP of HR on complex employee relations matters and terminations

  • Conduct exit interviews and identify retention opportunities

  • Identify high-potential performers and support succession planning

Culture, Engagement & Retention
  • Lead engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and cultural events

  • Coordinate celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, milestones)

  • Support leadership development and manager training

  • Develop and implement retention strategies aligned with business goals

Compliance & HR Operations
  • Manage leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, LOA, Workers' Compensation)

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and workplace policies

  • Maintain labor law postings and documentation

  • Support safety initiatives related to workers' compensation claims

  • Process employee changes in HRIS and ATS systems

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience

  • Experience across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, and employment law

  • Strong coaching and influencing skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • High level of discretion and professionalism with confidential information

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to analyze information and resolve issues effectively

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience with an ATS and HRIS (Workday preferred)

Compensation & Benefits for the HRBP role:

  • This role offers a competitive salary of $70,000 - $80,000 annually, paired with a benefits package designed to support you at work and in life.

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family

  • 401(k) with a 6% company match to help you build long-term financial security

  • 18 days of PTO plus 11.5 paid holidays so you can fully unplug and recharge

  • Paid parental leave to support you during life's biggest moments

  • Short- and long-term disability for added peace of mind

  • Lifestyle spending accounts and additional benefits to support your everyday well-being

Why Join Us?

This is more than an HR role-it's an opportunity to shape culture, influence leadership, and directly impact the team member experience across two dynamic hotel properties.
