Position Summary	The Social/Clinical Research Specialist will serve as the Study Coordinator supporting NC PAL and NC MATTERS operations in the UNC Department of Psychiatry. They will be responsible for a variety of support tasks including, but not limited to, the following: Assist with research, lit reviews, and other administrative tasks related to the preparation of educational materials. Clean, gather, edit, and analyze research data from NC PAL and NC MATTERS operations. Create and/or enter data into Microsoft Excel, REDCap or other electronic databases. Support data monitoring and data reporting activities for internal and external stakeholders. Participate in data analysis and manuscript writing. Participate in the development of research tools. Manage and maintain the NC MATTERS website. Administrative support for NC MATTERS Fellowship training events and meetings.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements	Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences	Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods (e.g., SPSS) and data management with experience utilizing REDCap or other electronic databases. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to produce professional correspondence, presentations and other communication pieces. Experience in research methods and best practices. Experience with website maintenance. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
