Executive Director Philanthropy Operations and Finance

Hybrid position with office presence at our Des Moines corporate location.

UnityPoint Health is seeking an Executive Director of Philanthropy Operations & Finance to lead this work. The right leader will bring deep expertise in operations, data and outcomes while honoring the foundation already in place. They will elevate best practices, strengthen systemwide workflows and ensure markets have the insights and support needed to excel. Above all, they will preserve a culture of trust, invest in people as much as process and lead through transition with care and steadiness.

  • Lead system-wide philanthropy operations, finance, analytics, and reporting
  • Serve as a trusted partner to foundation, market, and system leaders
  • Drive consistency, financial rigor, and meaningful KPIs across markets
  • Strengthen processes, tools, and workflows while protecting team culture
  • Build strong market relationships through collaboration and active listening
  • Develop talent, clarify roles, and support long-term team sustainability

Qualifications

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
