YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee all warehouse operations to ensure materials, tools, and equipment are organized, maintained, and delivered to support production lines. This role is critical to maintaining workflow efficiency, safety compliance, and facility upkeep. You will coordinate with production teams, manage inventory, and lead initiatives that keep our operations running smoothly and safely.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Organize and stage products to support production lines.
  • Coordinate delivery of steel and other materials to maintain continuous production flow.
  • Ensure trash hoppers inside the facility are emptied daily and recycling programs are maintained.
  • Conduct weekly tool inspections for production line gang boxes and complete monthly gang box inventories.
  • Maintain forklifts, scissor lifts, and other material-handling equipment; ensure propane availability.
  • Calibrate tools such as crimpers, torque wrenches, and lifelines.
  • Order tools upon request and manage inventory of skates, roof stands, and other production support items.
  • Ensure hazardous chemicals are properly stored and comply with safety regulations.
  • Maintain organized shelving and proper storage practices to keep walkways and exits clear.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance for facility systems including plumbing, HVAC, and fire alarms.
  • Maintain clean and organized parking areas and exterior facility grounds.
  • Support foremen and assistants in keeping production lines clean and organized.
  • Receive equipment from vendors and coordinate with VMI partners and quality control teams (e.g., steel skids, metal trims, etc.).

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety compliance.
  • Familiarity with material-handling equipment and preventative maintenance practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with inventory management systems preferred.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or logistics training preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in warehouse or facility management within a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and maintain operational efficiency.

TRAVEL:

  • Minimal; occasional travel between facilities may be required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • General warehouse environment - standing, walking, lifting, bending, and operating equipment. Work is conducted primarily indoors with occasional outdoor tasks. Noise level ranges from moderate to high. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
