Position Summary
This is a professional Business Operations Associate position providing support to the Institute of Continuing Judicial Education ( ICJE) of Georgia. Position duties can include assisting with financial and budget processing, general business administration, Trustee meetings and reports, and the day to day business operations of the ICJE office. The Business Operations Associate is expected to be knowledgeable of relevant policies and procedures and advise other ICJE staff as needed.

This position involves use of a P-Card.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

  • Proficiency in Word, WordPerfect, and Excel.
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Skill in analyzing and organizing financial data.
  • Knowledge of accounting, budgetary, and management principles, practices, and procedures. Thorough knowledge of University financial systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to compile, organize, interpret, and communicate accounting data and results in a concise format.

Financial Transactions:

  • Manage/track ICJE revenue sources
  • Prepare budget/actuals reports, initiate budget and accounting transactions
  • Maintain internal records and reconcile financial transactions
  • Initiate ICJE related payment/expense reimbursements
  • Initiate P-Card purchases within policy and maintain necessary records. Maintain knowledge of P-Card policies and any state purchasing division contracts relevant to ICJE.
  • Manage credit card reconciliations
