Vice President | Talent Acquisition, Talent Development & Learning
Reports to: Chief People Officer Location: Reasonable commuting distance of Green Bay or La Crosse, WI. Candidates must reside in WI, MI, MN, or IA at the time of hire.
About the Opportunity: The Vice President, Talent Development & Learning, serves as the strategic leader responsible for ensuring Emplify Health has a strong, futureready workforce across all clinical and professional domains. This role is accountable for building and sustaining the enterprise talent pipeline by anticipating organizational needs, creating pathways for internal growth, and designing holistic development experiences. The Vice President leads integrated strategies across Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Learning to cultivate a connected and developmentally focused employee experience. This position is responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise talent experience, from candidate attraction through career progression, ensuring that Emplify Health has the right talent, with the right skills, available at the right time. This includes creating innovative sourcing and talent acquisition strategies, stewarding the endtoend performance and talent cycle, and developing a comprehensive learning and development strategy that supports leadership growth, functional capability building, and ongoing skills development through upskilling and reskilling opportunities. As a strategic and creative change leader, the role builds a culture of belonging, collaboration, and accountability while delivering measurable outcomes, achieving enterprise KPIs, and navigating shifting priorities to maintain a capable, engaged, and futureready workforce. Major Responsibilities: People Strategy and Planning:
Build strong relationships across the organization to anticipate workforce needs and deliver sustainable, innovative solutions for current and future staffing demands. Partner with HR and Operations to develop workforce planning strategies, including approaches for hard to fill roles and contingent workforce management. Use people analytics to ensure fair, equitable, and differentiated talent strategies aligned with organizational values and culture.
Join Workforce:
Develop innovative, equitable recruitment and onboarding strategies that elevate the candidate and new hire experience and position Emplify Health as an employer of choice. Partner with brand and communications teams to support recruitment marketing activities and ensure alignment of talent messaging with organizational brand strategy. Deliver orientation and onboarding experiences that effectively acclimate new employees and accelerate integration and performance.
Build Workforce:
Design and lead a comprehensive talent strategy that attracts, develops, and retains a future ready workforce across all clinical and professional functions. Create a seamless talent experience from candidate attraction through long term career progression, ensuring the organization has the right talent with the right skills at the right time. Strengthen internal mobility and career development pathways by creating tools, resources, and systems that support self directed development and transparent career progression. Lead capability analysis to identify development gaps and deliver learning experiences that build leadership capability, functional skills, and future critical competencies. Design and deliver leadership development programs that prepare emerging talent, high potential employees, and new leaders for increased responsibility. Develop and enhance high impact learning experiences using diverse modalities, grounded in adult learning principles and tailored to employee needs. Establish a learning culture that integrates development into daily work, supported by centralized learning infrastructure and decentralized subject matter expertise. Leverage technology, including learning management systems, to deliver, track, measure, and continuously improve learning programs. Continuously refine talent, learning, and development programs based on feedback, organizational priorities, and evolving industry trends.
Manage Workforce:
Oversee the end to end performance and talent cycle, embedding meaningful feedback practices and ensuring talent processes reinforce employee growth and organizational expectations. Oversee succession planning and talent readiness processes, ensuring a strong bench for key leadership and critical roles. Provide employee centered career planning support and resources that empower career growth and internal mobility.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in organizational development or related field preferred. Certification/Registration/Licensure: NA Experience: Ten plus years of senior leadership or director level progressive experience leading People Experience functions: Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development programs, or a combination of Business and People Experience roles.
