Director | Finance Business Partner - Pharmacy Finance
Reports to: Vice President of Operational Finance Location: Reasonable commuting distance of Green Bay or La Crosse, WI. Eligible candidates must reside in WI, MN, MI, or IA at the time of hire.
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director, Finance Business Partner to lead the development and delivery of financial solutions focused on pharmacy finance. This role serves as a key liaison and trusted business partner to internal stakeholders, empowering financially sound planning and decision-making through data-driven insights and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) tools. The Director will lead a team of finance professionals dedicated to supporting business units in achieving their strategic and financial goals. Essential Job Duties / Major Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with operations leaders to understand needs and challenges, enabling rapid service improvements through continuous feedback Analyze financial trends and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, utilization, reduce costs, and increase revenue to enhance margins Prepare customized financial statements and analyses to support budget requests and cost reduction strategies; communicate findings effectively to leadership Monitor leading indicators to identify risks and performance gaps, driving corrective actions or alternative approaches Develop and maintain productivity targets and provide recommendations to optimize labor staffing schedules Lead and develop a high-performing team of finance business partners, fostering continuous improvement Collaborate with senior leaders to align financial strategies with business objectives Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial data to support decision-making Ensure financial performance KPIs are met and advise on corrective actions as needed Develop financial models to evaluate business scenarios and support strategic planning Champion process improvement initiatives to optimize financial operations and reporting Serve as a key liaison between finance and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration Stay current on industry trends, reimbursement changes, regulatory developments, and best practices in pharmacy finance Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Required) Certification/Registration/Licensure:CPA or CMA (Preferred) Experience:Minimum 7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related healthcare field, including 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience (Required); Preferred: 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related healthcare field, with 5 years of pertinent leadership experience and experience partnering with key stakeholders
