West Virginia University School of Medicineand theDepartment ofSurgeryseekaLiver Transplant Surgeonqualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank.The successful candidate will be expected to practice inMorgantown, WV.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas ofLiver Transplant Surgery. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.This is a unique opportunity to help play a foundational role in the development of a comprehensive liver transplant program within a growing academic medical center. The successful candidate will work closely with surgical and medical leadership to build clinical infrastructure, develop protocols, and establish a culture of excellence, safety, and innovation, including the development of a strong living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) program.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successfulcandidatemust have completedGeneral Surgeryresidency program, as well astransplantfellowship program. Successful candidates must be board certified/ eligibleintransplantsurgery. Allqualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
