dormakaba is seeking a Multimedia Intern based in Indianapolis, IN. The Multimedia Intern is responsible for both production and editing of videos and PowerPoints, ensuring on time and on budget delivery.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $ 19.00-$23.00 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

What you will do
  • Act as the editor and/or graphics animation expert on assigned projects.
  • Convert and organize video assets using established project folder structures and archiving protocols.
  • Assist Studio Manager with video shoot recordings, including micing talent, lighting placement, and applying general video production principles.
  • Support photo shoot production and execution (when applicable).
  • Collaborate with Learning Leader Strategist to update and refresh PowerPoint training decks, ensuring adherence to current brand standards, logo placements, imagery, and design.
What we require
  • Video production skills, including setting up video interviews, understanding lighting principles, and recording high-quality audio.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for updating and refreshing existing presentation files.
  • Experience using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop editing software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
What we prefer
  • Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Audition, etc.).
  • Pursuing or holding a degree in Media, Video Production, Film, Communications, or related field.
  • Mirrorless or DSLR camera experience, preferably with Panasonic LUMIX cameras.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Excel).
  • Livestream experience using platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
