TITLE: Electrical Engineer



POSITION OBJECTIVE: To support the plant operations through design, build, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all electrical systems throughout the plant.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering or significant work experience in field.
  • Familiar with drive and PLC operational theory, with past knowledge of power distribution and/or PC network experience
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good administrative skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Familiar with AutoCAD software is a plus
  • Experience with SIEMENS PLC (S-5, S-7), SIEMENS AC & DC Drives is a plus
  • Experience with Ethernet & Profibus Network communication is a plus
  • Experience with HMI programming is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of automated process machinery and controls is a plus
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Comply with all written and verbal safety rules, P.P.E., conduct & attendance rules.
  • Follow directions of Maintenance Manager/Supervisor.
  • Identify and correct electrical problems in all areas of the plant.
  • Providing quality preventive maintenance to operations.
  • Perform task without supervision.
  • Provide good housekeeping.
  • Initiate improvement projects.
  • Oversee work being done by Electrical Tech.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory.
  • Order parts (Issue P/R).
  • Make drawings and communicate with vendors.
  • Ability to train other personnel effectively.
  • Must know and follow all ISO procedures for Maintenance Section.
  • Interpret all forms associated with P.M. and work orders programs including ISO procedures, preventive maintenance, records, & forms, prepare training for maintenance Section.
  • Perform calibration of equipment.
  • Maintain Calibration records of equipment.
  • Available for overtime, call-ins, and rotating shift.
  • Other duties assigned by Maint. Manager/Supervisor.



WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:



  • Office environment.
  • Occasionally walking, standing.
  • Subject to noise.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot).
