Job Title: Production Assembler Duration: 6 +Months Location: Oro Valley AZ 85755 Payrate: $18 on w2 without benefits Shift: 1st Shift Monday-Friday occasional evening/weekend overtime. 5am to 8am start time Job Description: Use electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A-610B, Class 3 standard. Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, Apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bonding. Perform a variety of complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures. Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 6S standards. Required Skills: Proficient in using the tools, equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assigned. Use hand tools, power tools and electric soldering gun. Lift and Carry up to 30lbs. Able and willing to comply with Drug-Free Workplace policies and pass all related drug/alcohol screenings. Able to perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operation. Minimal: heavy lifting from floor or higher, bending, twisting, climbing, lifting arms above shoulders, kneeling, exposure to excessive noise, hazardous chemicals, hazardous equipment, uneven walking surfaces. Require Qualifications: Education: Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience. Experience: Minimum of 2 years prior work experience in an electronics/manufacturing environment or completed OJT training for at least 5 products.
