Safety Compliance & Protocols:

  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety plans and laboratory protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with university and regulatory standards (EHS, OSHA, EPA) and maintain data integrity and confidentiality.

Training & Technical Support:

  • Train and guide lab users on safety practices, laboratory techniques, and equipment use.
  • Assist researchers with experiment preparation, execution, and provide technical support for design and data analysis.

Liaison & Facility Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Center and University facilities.
  • Address lab concerns, coordinate renovations, and ensure maintenance or work orders are completed.

If you are organized, safety-minded, and enjoy working in a collaborative research environment, this role offers the opportunity to directly contribute to pioneering work in sustainable food production.
