Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Operator to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves mechanical assembly, precision work, and adherence to strict quality and safety standards within a cleanroom setting.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with small components, following detailed instructions, and performing hands-on assembly tasks that support cost, quality, and schedule objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
-Perform mechanical assembly using various hand tools, fasteners, and precision torque tools
-Assemble machined housings, circuit cards, mirrors, motors, and optical assemblies
-Conduct soldering, repair, and inspection of electrical and mechanical systems
-Perform detailed hand manipulation including wire sleeving, soldering, and bonding materials
-Work safely with approved chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines
-Obtain and maintain required process certifications
-Cross-train in multiple production areas to support daily manufacturing needs
-Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, cost, and schedule
-Work limited overtime as required to meet production demands

Qualifications:
-US Citizenship Required
-Experience in mechanical and/or electronic assembly within a manufacturing environment
-Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow strict procedures
-Experience using hand tools, torque tools, and soldering equipment
-Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
-Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions
-Willingness to obtain required certifications
-Flexible to support overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:
-Ability to stand for extended periods
-Perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
-Manual dexterity to handle small components and perform fine detail work
