The Quality Manager for the contamination control product range within Ecolab's Pharma and Personal Care(PPC) division will play a senior leadership role in auditing and ensuring that Ecolab's quality system requirements are met across all PPC production sites globally. Additionally PPC sites should follow GMP principles as required by our pharmaceutical customers. This position is responsible for timely and satisfactory resolution of complaints, establishing quality control guidelines and testing procedures, and ensuring that all raw materials and finished products comply with engineering and product specifications. Additionally, this position will ensure our critical contamination control range of products sold to pharmaceutical customers meets specifications and customer expectations throughout shelf life. This role will also interact with internal and external customers providing support on quality topics as required.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure compliance with Ecolab quality system requirements across all PPC production sites.
  • Ensure new product introductions are handled appropriately with strong validation activity to ensure RFT and no issues in market.
  • Oversee and manage the resolution of customer complaints promptly and effectively. Ensuring robust root cause analysis and CAPA implementation
  • Verify that raw materials and finished products meet engineering and product specifications.
  • Make decisions regarding product disposition based on quality standards.
  • Authorize requisition of supplies and services critical to the quality function
  • Collaborate and effectively work within a global team

Position Details:

  • Candidate can be located anywhere in the United States near a major airport, St. Paul, MN or Greensboro, NC are preferred
  • 20-30% overnight travel required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field with a strong chemistry component.
  • 10 years of experience managing quality systems, including at least 3 years in a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, including pharma GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • 3 years of experience in a leadership role
  • No immigration sponsorship is available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industries
  • Knowledge of microbiology and/or sterilization

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

The base salary range for this position is $120,500 - 180,700. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
