HR COORDINATOR


Job Purpose

We're looking for a talented, motivated and enthusiastic person to join our HR team.This person brings a strong background in administrative support and a passion for efficiency, organization and process improvement. They will facilitate daily HR functions including tracking of employee records and supporting employment processes. The ideal candidate will have abroad knowledge of Human Resources and experience performing general administrative duties and responsibilities. This person can work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations, contributing to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and organization.



Nature of Duties / Responsibilities


Talent Acquisition Support



  1. * Assisting with pre-employment processes, including routing job requisitions for approval, scheduling interviews, coordinating background checks, and conducting reference checks.
  2. * Coordinating the new employee on-boarding process by preparing offers of employment, entering new hire information into HRIS system, and conducting new employee orientation.



Benefits Administration



  1. * Administering employee benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  2. * Answering employee questions, assisting with claims inquiries, and offering options and solutions including directing employees to the appropriate plan contacts for assistance.
  3. * Providing benefit orientation and education, and offering ongoing support on benefit programs.
  4. * Acting as a liaison between employees, brokers, and insurance providers.
  5. * Reconciling benefit statements, and administering invoicing process..



Recordkeeping



  1. * Conducting audits of benefits and other HR programs as required.
  2. * Managing employee records and administering changes through HRIS system.
  3. * Tracking of HR metrics on a regular basis.
  4. * Producing and submitting reports on general HR activity.


Procedural and Program Support


  1. * Coordinating service recognition programs and events.
  2. * Supporting spot recognition program.
  3. * Assisting HR Business Partners in coordinating training sessions and seminars.
  4. * Assisting with HR projects (e.g. collection of employee feedback, ongoing engagement activities, etc.).


Education and Experience


  1. * 2-5 years' administrative experience in an HR Coordinator or comparable role.
  2. * Generally requires a diploma in Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. * Excellent administrative skills, with a high level of proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  4. * Strong attention to details, with experience successfully managing multiple priorities.
  5. * Knowledge of human resources processes andbest practices is an asset.
  6. * Experience working with ATS software.
  7. * Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
  8. * Excellent interpersonal skills.
  9. * Ability to identify issues requiring escalation.
  10. * Ability to handle data with confidentiality and discretion.
  11. * Solid organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
