Role Overview:

TheDirector,Talent & Performance Management will leadand executeglobal strategies that drive organizational performance, employee engagement, and talent development. This roleis responsible fordesigning and implementing frameworks, tools, and programs that enable a high-performance culture, foster employee connection, and build strong talent pipelines for future leadership needs.This role requires strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to lead and create a matrixed, multi-business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Management

  • Set the strategy for enterprise-wide performance management frameworks, ensuring alignment with businessobjectivesand cultural values.

  • Partner with TalentPartners, Total Rewards, Talent

  • Acquisition,HREnablement,andbusinessleaders to embed performance practices across the employee lifecycle.

  • Analyze global performance data toidentifytrends and recommend strategic improvements.

  • Develop toolkits, communications, and resources to support managers and employees throughout the performance cycle.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership ontalentstrategies that enhance retention, performance, and culture.

Talent Management

  • In partnership with SVP, Talent Managementcreateglobal talent standard work such as talent reviews, and succession planning.

  • Partner with the HR Leadership team, especially the Talent Partners who support the Business Units, VP Total Rewards, and VP TalentAcquisitionto create innovative initiatives that impact business results and strengthen Novanta'suniqueculture.

  • Build a career architecture framework that enables employees at all levels to learn,grow,and exceed business and developmental goals.

  • Analyze talentand businessdata and metrics toidentifytrends and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Learning, Development & Engagement

  • Architect how learning, development and engagement come together tostrengthen culture and business results.

  • Coach and partner with Learning and Development and Engagement leads to define and deploy targeted manager development programs aligned to the company's priorities and values.

  • Utilize AI tools and analytics tostrengthenlearning, development, and engagement strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with Master's degree a plus.

  • 10 plus yearsof progressive HR experience, withexpertisein performance management, engagement,skills-basedworkforce planning,and talent management.

  • Experienceas a builder and innovator whose work impacts business results.

  • Track recordof success as a coach and developer of people at all levels.

  • Strong knowledge of technology platforms and data analytics.

  • Proven ability to lead global initiatives andinfluence stakeholdersat all levels.

  • ExcellentPowerPoint,communication, change management, and project management skills.

  • Experiencein OEM(originalequipment manufacturing)fieldsand/or life sciencesa plus.

Compensation:

  • The salary for this role will range from176,000 to 263,120 annually based on full-time employment. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to location, relevant skills, training, experience, education, etc.

  • Certain roles may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives. Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
