Are you ready to swap the fluorescent lights for the sparkling waters of Lake LBJ? Horseshoe Bay Resort is looking for energetic individuals to join our team as Marina Concierge! In this role, you aren't just behind a desk; you are the conductor of the ultimate "Lake Life" experience. Whether you are managing the Ship Store or greeting guests at the Marina Hut, you'll ensure every visitor enjoys a world-class check-in and an unforgettable day on the water.

Qualifications



  • Experience: Previous customer service experience is required to provide our signature "pampered" guest experience.
  • Certifications: Must possess (or be able to obtain) a Food Handlers certificate.
  • Age Requirement: Minimum age of 16 years.
  • Skills: Strong basic math/accounting skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory software.
  • Communication: Exceptional telephone etiquette and a friendly, outgoing personality are essential.
  • Professionalism: Must maintain a neat image, follow uniform standards, and bring a positive, solution-oriented attitude every day.


Essential Functions



  • Guest Ambition: Greet, accommodate, and facilitate guest check-ins and check-outs with a high standard of efficiency.
  • Sales & Bookings: Maximize watercraft reservations and retail sales by offering exciting up-selling and cross-selling options.
  • Operations: Master the daily opening and closing procedures for the Ship Store and Marina Hut according to SOPs.
  • Information Expert: Provide detailed descriptions of services, clinic/camp schedules, and facility features.
  • Facility Care: Keep the lobby, retail areas, candy store, and arcade organized, clean, and visually appealing.
  • Guest Advocacy: Handle questions and concerns professionally, always anticipating guest needs before they even ask.


Physical & Mental Requirements



  • Stamina: Ability to walk or stand for extended periods and navigate stairs as part of your daily routine.
  • Strength: Occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 15-20 pounds.
  • Pace: Must be able to multi-task and remain productive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Teamwork: A strong "Sense of TEAM" is required to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible work area.
