POSITION TITLE: Manager of Field Services JOB POSTING: 2026-03 DEPARTMENT: Field Services IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Field Services LOCATION: St. Paul Office HOURS/FLSA: Full time / Exempt EMPLOYEE GROUP: Executive Staff PROBATIONARY PERIOD: 1 Year POSITION SUMMARY: Assist the Director of Field Services ("Field") to manage department programs, implement Education Minnesota and Field Service department priorities and objectives, and supervise professional staff and office professional support staff. Managers in Field Services are responsible for developing and leading key initiatives related to member recruitment and retention, member rights, collective bargaining, leadership development, and organizing. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is in a general office environment. This position will interact with employees, vendors, members, and the public on a somewhat regular basis. These interactions require judgment and discretion that can involve confidential information, private information, and some disagreeable human interactions. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Employee is required to: CONTINUOUSLY sit, talk, and hear; FREQUENTLY stand, walk, and repetitively use hands dexterously (use fingers to handle, feel), reach with hands and arms, bend and physically lift and carry up to 10 pounds; OCCASIONALLY lift up to 50 pounds and infrequently travel by various conveyances (e.g., air, rail, auto). Page Break STARTING SALARY RANGE: First three steps of the salary schedule, in accordance with the current staff collective bargaining agreement: $148,193-$154,653 annual; placement depends on qualifications and previous experience.
