Tesla is looking for a Carpenter to join our large-scale EPC project team. This role requires exceptional talent and offers a fast-paced, exciting environment. What You'll Do
- Read and understand drawings and specifications, and contribute to creating as-built drawings
- Install and properly align door frames and hardware, ensuring all components are secure and functional
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of job site safety, with the ability to evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning, focusing on hazard identification
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, interact effectively with all levels of management, show initiative, and work independently or collaboratively as needed
- Lead small construction projects and communicate schedule estimates, progress, and impacts
- Create as-built drawings for completed work
- Ability to produce parts lists and work plans based on drawings or field observations
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 5+ years of verifiable experience as a Journeyman Carpenter (applicants with less than 5 years will be assessed for experience level and considered)
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
- Capability to create as-built drawings for completed work
- Experience in measuring, cutting, and installing door frames and hardware preferred
- Flexibility to complete job scopes outside of typical core competencies as required and willingness to travel to various project locations as required
- Extensive experience with hand and power tools
- Experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, forkliftsand experience with hand power tools and ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
Essential Physical Demands:
- Ability to work at heights up to 80 ft.

Expected Compensation
$32.00 - $60.70/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
