Job Title: Human Resources Generalist


Report To: HR Director


Location: Site


JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Human Resource Generalist, you will ensure that all HR-related policies and procedures comply with standard legal practices. You will help create onboarding plans for new hires to educate them and comply with company guidelines and internal operations of their department or office.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Post jobs on many avenues that NDi utilizes to announce opening.
  • Review resumes and applications via our applicant tracking systems, and complete applications process once job offered.
  • Set up onsite interviews with hiring managers.
  • Perform reference check, background check and schedule onsite drug screen.
  • Schedule and conduct new employee orientations.
  • Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Develop policies, procedures, methods, or standards.

Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES:



  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. ADP) will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
  • BS/BA in Business administration or experience in relevant field
  • Additional HR training will be a plus
